Assembling A Good Atmos System

Image
If you are like many and have been forced to stay home for the past two years, a good system to watch those movies will be a nice thing to have.  If you have grown beyond those soundbars, and the entry level home theatre systems and want a decent system, I think a good price point is the 10k mark. Firstly, what does it NOT cover: - no TV or projector - no furniture - no blu ray player - no calibration - unless you're a good negotiator, it's not standard for such a low budget - room treatment and acoustic professional  What will this cover: - 1 sub - centre / sides / rear / front - cables - Atmos speakers - stands You can top up for better speakers / cables and change the fronts to towers or add an extra sub I would suggest around 2.5k to 3k for the front three, i.e. front R&L and centre Then around 600-800 for the side, rear backs and top Atmos speakers - four pairs.  Keeping them in the same family helps. Using the same speakers all the various surrounds helps, but make su

Getting your car refreshed : paint / polish / ceramic

Firstly, I don't work for any of these folks, but I think I had a good time with them, so I'm giving them a shoutout. In my haste to running about, I managed to scratch my  bumper  against a post whilst shopping - boo! I also had a deep scratch that some terrible person keyed onto my  bonnet  within a week of my getting the car.. that has been an eyesore because it occured so soon after I got my car. I have tried polishing it off, but it was too deep for that. Thankfully, my  bonnet  was made from aluminium, so my agent said it's ok and it did not breach the base coat. I did ask around about doing that but the downtime was something I didn't want to incur so I have lived with the scratch for a while. However when I scratched my  bumper  and a bit of the side of the car, I decided I will get it fixed together. I also changed my battery, but the man came over to do it, and it was fast and smooth, I recommend Clement and the battery company:  8166 4455 He gave me a contact

Samsung M7 Smart Monitor Review

Covid has made working from home the de facto state for quite a few of us. So that tiny 14 inch laptop screen simply will not cut it. And it also means we will be spending a considerable amount of time in front of our monitor and when we close that laptop or desktop, we may want to chill and get some light entertain in the form of some Netflix or other digital platforms. Yet we may not want to turn on the laptop or computer just to watch some streaming platforms. However if we have limited desktop space, we may not want to have too many things in front of us, so if only we have a single display that allows us to use it as a TV, a monitor and even as a processor too? That was pretty much a piped dream until Samsung's M7 monitor came along. This is a fine jack of all trades and fulfils those needs and even more. But does it do it well or is it merely a master of none? Firstly a  link to the official site: https://www.samsung.com/us/computing/monitors/smart-monitors/32-smart-monitor-w
