My setup 7/2022

Hi folks
Covid days mean more days spent in the den, so I did some tweaking and also updated some gear.

I finally swopped out the JL Audio Subs, I've owned four of them, but I've decided to return to SVS and updated my system too.
Also swopped the rear surrounds for a newer generation of the Silver FX.

As for electronic noise. Well the current to my den comes direct from the mains. One solid copper line to the room. All the power sockets use a single DB. The other stuff like switches, aircon, lights etc use a separate DB..

Banana sockets cut into the wall

  1. Hi Pete, I'm considering ceiling atmos speakers for my future BTO and I'm wondering about the logistics around it. What are the steps required to mount ceiling speakers? Like do I find a contractor for the wiring etc? What is roughly the estimated installation costs for 4x atmos ceiling speakers, excluding the price of speakers? Thanks!
